As Christmas once again rolls by, The Gyu Bar is thrilled to present their festive menu that consists of mouth-watering snow aged produce, including wagyu, sake, and genmaicha. These amazing delicacies are only available from 1 to 31 December 2021 for dine-in and takeaway for lunch and dinner.
Snow-aging (yukimuro) is a 200-year-old Japanese preservation method that originated in Niigata, and the preservation enhances the rich umami of wagyu and the natural sweetness of vegetables.
Highlights from their menu include delicious, premium starters of Snow-Aged Wagyu Tataki, Snow-Aged Wagyu Katsu Curry and Snow-Aged Wagyu Yaki-shabu Egg Dip, specially made with snow-aged A4 wagyu from Niigata.
Not forgetting their delectable mains of Yakiniku Cut Snow-Aged Wagyu Sirloin and Steak Cut Snow-Aged Wagyu, served with condiments to pair with the delicious buttery wagyu!
For all Shabu-Shabu or Sukiyaki lovers, you can enjoy a cosy meal for two of the Snow-Aged Wagyu Shabu Shabu or Sukiyaki with family and friends. Diners can also pair their meals with snow-aged beverages such as snow-aged sake, Hakkaisan 3 Years Snow-Aged Junmai Daiginjyo and a non-alcoholic snow-aged beverage of rich and toasty Snow-Aged Genmaicha with Matcha (hot or iced).
