Known for his widely acclaimed two-Michelin-starred La Cime in Osaka, Chef Yusuke Takada has ventured into Singaporean soil with the opening of HANAZEN. Newly opened in CHIJMES, Hanazen introduces a duo-concept Charcoal-Grilled Omakase and Brasserie, a splendid showcase of Chef Yusuke Takada’s unique style.
A harmony between Japanese and French techniques, the smoky char of his signature charcoal-grilled meat skewers served with specially created sauces is truly a feast for the senses! Hanazen’s 16-course omakase dinner menu is complemented by artisanal cocktails, sake, wine and a tea programme featuring Kyoto’s 7T+.
Paying homage to LaCime’s signature dish, Boudin dog, look forward to the Singa Dog! Chef Yusuke Takada masterfully combines inspiration from his time in France with American culture influences and Japanese technique to create the Singa Dog, a fried battered ball consisting of chicken floss and chicken liver, coloured black with edible bamboo charcoal and brushed with a buah keluak sauce to give it an extra kick! With an iconic local twist, it will surely give you a taste of Singapore.
Seasonal seafood and ingredients are airflown three times a week from Japan to ensure that guests are able to enjoy the finest seasonal ingredients! Available in an 11-person dining counter, a private room appointed for 8 persons, or a semi-private corner that seats up to 7 persons, Hanazen caters to friends and family looking for a night of delectable food and drinks!
