Accommodation
The resort boasts 450 contemporary rooms, suites and villas to suit different needs. Each well-appointed room and suite feature a furnished balcony, in-room amenities and modern conveniences.
Recently, the guestrooms under a facelift. Among the key features of the newly redesigned guestroom is a flat-screen television, a range of modern Indonesia designer teak furniture and enhanced daybeds. Refurbished in light marbled tones, the bathrooms are fitted with Bravat designer bathtubs and sanitary ware as well as an impressive full-length floor to ceiling mirror to enhance the visual space. All guestrooms are attached with a balcony facing either the resort’s 1.5km stretch of private beach or the lush green landscape of the woodlands. For a more indulgent escapade, the Resort’s suite rooms offer separate living areas and a view of the South China Sea. If you are feeling royal, you can also choose either the sprawling Indraloka Suite or the Swargaloka Suite.
Ideal for corporate groups, families and friends desiring their own privacy, the Resort’s 54 villas, ranging from three to four-bedroom configurations, offer accommodation in a more casual setting. These self-catering villas are equipped with kitchenettes, barbecue areas, generous living areas and a personal buggy to get around to the resort’s facilities. For bigger groups, the 4-bedroom Angsoka Villas comes with the added indulgence of a private pool.
Satisfying Different Palates
To cater to different palates, there are a plethora of 14 wining & dining options available for guest to choose. Head to Fiesta, the buffet restaurant, that celebrates good mood food. Sited within Fiesta is, Mangia!, serving customized pizzas and pasta and Little India. Standing in the outdoor patio of Fiesta is the Satay Club offering satay grilled in the open, bringing back the nostalgia of kampong or village life. Nelayan Beachfront Bar & Seafood Dining is perfect to catch the sunset and the floating fishing villages on the horizon. By the Resort’s two swimming pools are Ripples – a swim-up bar and American-style Verandah Cafe, both of which cater snacks, light meals and drinks. At dusk, guests can sing their hearts out in the Karaoke Lounge or dance the night away at Silk, Bintan’s hottest nightclub.
Meetings, Conferences and Events
With extensive meeting facilities and a variety of outdoor locations, BLR offers the perfect setting for weddings, MICE and teambuilding events away from the city. In addition, BLR offers outdoor locations for corporate groups, weddings and private parties alike for themed dinners on the resort’s private beach, West Lawn and golf course. For larger group sizes, The Great Hall is a Conference Centre, an astounding column-free banquet hall holding up to 1300 standing guests.
Championship Golf Courses
BLR is home to the Bintan Lagoon Golf Club which offers two championship golf courses designed by professional golfers Ian Baker-Finch (Woodlands Course) and Jack Nicklaus (Sea View Course). It is set amongst lush landscapes overlooking the South China Sea with spectacular signature holes, fast greens, undulating fairways and scenic water hazards. A recipient of several golfing awards, the Club is also a popular host venue for corporate golf tournaments including the yearly Ryder Cup games since 1998 and the annual BLR President’s Cup since 2015.
Sun, Sand and Sea
Over 50 land and sea activities are available. Sun seekers can lounge by the resort’s two swimming pools, or make a splash with water sports such as snorkeling, jet-skiing and kayaking. On land, there are activities such as tennis, archery, cycling, nine-bots and even all-terrain vehicle (ATV) rides for the more adventurous. The Nutty Bunch Club caters to children from 4-8 years old under the watchful eye of nannies. Kids aged 3-10 years old can enjoy playing on the slides, crawling tubes and nets, foam obstacles, tunnels, bridges and other play items in the Jungle Gym. For adults, the Powerhouse Gym in the Leisure Centre is well furnished with the latest Technogym equipment from Italy. A host of activities and workshops is organized on long weekends and festive holidays for individuals, couples and families.
Pamper yourself
Located in the Leisure Centre, the Kedaton Spa pampers with a diverse menu of spa services utilizing organic ingredients in conjunction with modern techniques and traditional therapies. Outdoor massage pavilions by the beach and 24-hour in-room massage service are also available. The Galleria@Bintan offers retail therapy from chic resort apparel to funky gift ideas and ethnic souvenirs. In line with the Indonesian government legislation for transactions to be conducted strictly in Indonesian currency only, a moneychanger is located off the lobby to provide such a service.
