Resto-bar Salt & Palm by Executive Chef Natasya Soetantyo aims to introduce the vivid flavours and diversity of Indonesian cuisine with a modern twist. Its fun new take on the flavours of the East Indies has taken Sydney, Australia by storm. Venturing into our Lion City, Salt & Palm Singapore will open its doors at Joo Chiat on 23 March 2023! Artfully combining a modern style of cooking with traditional spices, each dish is full of complex flavours for guests to explore.
Experience Indonesian finesse with starters like the iconic Kerupuk, featuring crunchy rice crackers and tempe chips, served with green chilli sambal, chilli tomato salsa and chilli lemongrass shallot salsa, it will truly be a delectable start to your meal! Save room for a burst of unique Indonesian flavours with grilled river prawns coated in a North-Eastern Indonesian curry sauce, a tribute to a dish called Woku from North Sulawesi.
Enjoy a modern take on Palembang Mie Celor with the Prawn Bisque Pasta. Packed with the sweetness of the sea, treat yourself with king prawns and pasta cooked to perfection in South Sumatran prawn bisque and topped with an onsen egg, beansprouts, tobiko and chives to give that extra kick. For meat lovers, look forward to Porchetta, Salt & Palm’s take on the Balinese Babi Guling. Pork belly is marinated before being covered in a Basa Genap traditional spice blend and cooked in an Italian-style to give a Western touch. A comforting dish for many, it will surely be a crowd favourite!
To end off the meal, Salt & Palm’s wine list showcases a wide variety of wines, from natural to conventional wines and curated cocktails, an ideal pair with their cuisine.
